One plan, one price, for the software that runs a tanning salon’s front desk.
The TanVision plan
Everything listed below. TanVision runs in a web browser, so the desk computer, a tablet at the counter and your phone all show the same salon.

The front desk
- A live board with a tile for every room: free, running, needs cleaning, and the time left, on every desk screen
- Check-in by name search or keytag scan, with the client’s record beside the board
- Exposure limits from your own settings, capped at each room’s maximum, with any time over the limit refused
- Consent forms clients sign on their phone or a tablet, kept with the exact wording they agreed to
- An appointment book that will not double-book a room
Packages and the till
- Session packs and unlimited plans with expiry dates and visit limits, counted down on their own
- Room access by package, with priced upgrades rung up at check-in
- One ticket for tanning, retail, packages and upgrades
- Card payments at the till through built-in card processing, on your own merchant account and a supported card terminal (card fees are your processor’s, not part of this price)
- Monthly memberships on auto-pay, charged to a card the client saves on the card processor’s secure page
- Sales tax per item, and the tanning excise on its own line
- Gift certificates sold and redeemed at the till
- Promotions with start and end dates, coupon codes and member discounts
- Lotion and retail stock that goes down with each sale
The back office
- Ready-made reports, a close-out and a day sheet that prints
- A commission leaderboard, with commission set per package
- A time clock, and access for each person set to their job
- Client records with visits, packages, purchases, consent status and notes
- Lamp hours for each room, with a warning when lamps are due
Your clients, online
- Your own shop page, arranged from a template, where clients order and pay online or at the desk
- Text campaigns, welcome texts and “we miss you” texts to clients who agreed to marketing texts
- Loyalty cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet that fill from each visit
- 500 text messages a month to your clients, included. Need more? Ask us.
Text messages and wallet loyalty cards go through your salon’s own PerkPanther account, which you connect in Settings.
What is not live yet
- Timer brands other than T-Max
- TanVision sends session times to the beds on T-Max timer controllers. Other timer brands are not supported yet, so on those, staff start each bed on your existing timer system.
- Several locations
- Running several shops from one account is not ready yet. Staff cannot be assigned to a shop, and a tax category cannot vary by location.
Common questions
- How much does TanVision cost?
- $99 a month. That one plan includes everything listed on this page.
- Does TanVision process card payments?
- Yes. TanVision has built-in card processing on your salon’s own merchant account. At the till it sends the amount to a supported card terminal and records the approval on the sale, and the same processing takes monthly auto-pay and payments in your online shop.
- Can memberships renew and charge automatically?
- Yes. A monthly membership can bill on auto-pay: the client saves a card on the card processor’s secure page, and TanVision charges it each period with the tax, on the terms you set. TanVision never sees or stores the card number.
- Does TanVision control my tanning beds?
- Yes, if they run on T-Max timer controllers. TanVision checks each visit against your rules at check-in, then the desk sends the session’s time to the bed’s own timer, through a small box TanVision supplies that sits on your network next to the T-Max controller (the box is included in your plan). Stop clears the time. Other timer brands are not supported yet.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. TanVision runs in a web browser on a desk computer, a tablet or a phone, over an internet connection.
- Is my salon’s data backed up?
- Yes. Your salon’s records (clients, packages, sales and visits) are stored online, not on your computer, and backed up automatically every day. The backups are encrypted and kept for 7 days.
