This website is published by Tan Vision, which makes TanVision. These terms cover your use of the website, including the guides and the state law pages. By using the site, you agree to them.

They are not the agreement for the TanVision software. Subscription terms are provided when you sign up.

Using the site

You may read, print and link to the pages on this site. Please do not republish them as your own, and do not try to disrupt the site or reach any part of TanVision you have not been given access to.

General information, not advice

The guides and state law pages are general information about tanning salon rules, taxes and operations. They are not legal, tax or other professional advice. For a decision about your own salon, check the current rules with your state’s regulator, or ask an attorney or a tax professional.

Laws change

We research each page from primary sources and show the date it was last checked. Laws, rules, tax rates and official pages can change after that date, and we cannot promise that a page is current, complete or right for your situation. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.

Links to official sources

Our pages link to government sites and other outside sources so you can read them yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or whether they are available. Where a page and the official text differ, the official text is the one that counts.
