Who we are

This website is published by Tan Vision, which makes TanVision, software for tanning salons. “We” and “us” on this page mean Tan Vision.

This page covers this website: its pages, the guides and state law pages, and the Book a demo form. A salon that uses TanVision keeps information about its own clients in it, and that salon manages that information. If you are a client of a salon, ask the salon about it.

The Book a demo form

If you send the form on our Book a demo page, we collect:

• your name, your salon’s name, your email address, and your city and state;
• your phone number, how many tanning rooms you have and your message, if you give them;
• the page of this site you came to the form from, when your browser shares it;
• the date and time you sent it.

We store this in our database and use it only to contact you about TanVision. Only we can read it: no salon that uses TanVision can see it. The form does not pass your details to anyone else, and it does not sign you up to a mailing list.

The form also sends how long it was open, and a hidden field that people never see. Both are checked to tell a person from an automated script, and neither is stored.

A demo request is not deleted automatically. It is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Limits on repeated requests

To stop one sender flooding the form, each time it is sent we count it against the internet (IP) address it came from. The count is stored in our database with that IP address and the time it was last used. It is not linked to your name or anything you typed, and it is deleted after a day with no requests from that address.

Cookies and browser storage

Reading this website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

If you sign in to TanVision, the sign-in sets cookies that keep you signed in, and they are used only for that. Inside the app, your choice of a light or dark screen is kept in your browser’s storage.

Page speed, and no advertising or tracking

This website runs no advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not load fonts or scripts from any other company’s servers.

It does run one measurement script, Vercel Speed Insights, served from this website’s own address, so we can see how quickly pages load on real phones and computers. For each page it records the page address, your browser, device type and operating system, connection speed, country, and the timing figures. It sets no cookies, is not tied to you or your IP address, and cannot follow you from page to page. It runs on this website only, never inside the TanVision app.

Services that handle data for us

• Vercel hosts this website. Every request your browser makes to it, including your IP address, passes through Vercel so the page can be served. Vercel also receives the page-speed figures described above.
• Supabase provides the database where demo requests and the request counts above are kept.

Deleting or correcting your details

Email us at info@perkpanther.com from the address you gave us and say what you want deleted or changed. We will delete or correct the details you sent us.

Changes to this page

If what this website collects changes, this page changes with it, and so does the effective date at the top.
